New Functions: 1. Zoom In and Out of the Waveform Display Range (Navigator) Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: When the function is activated, the movement of the Blue Column in the Navigator Window should keep pace with that of the Waveform in the Waveform Display Area. That is to say, when the Waveform is moved and some data is changed, the Blue Column should be changed, too. 2. Bus Width Filter Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: It is used to filter the clutter of the Bus. 3. Memory Analyzer Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: The function is used to divide the packet formats in the Protocol Analyzer and display the Address and the Data in an independent list which is better for learning the corresponding relations and statuses between the Address and the Data in the communication of Protocol Analyzers. 4. Wide-screen Display and Double-screen Display Before Modification: The resolution of the displayer is above 1024*768. When the Display Width of the waveform becomes wider, the number of the displayed Waveform is fixed. After Modification: Wide-screen Display: When the function is activated, the number of the displayed Waveform will be adjusted automatically according to the Display Width of the Screen. Double-screen Display: When the function is activated, the Software can support the Double-screen Display with which the software can display more waveforms. 5. Find Pulse Width Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: The function is implemented to find the pulse width for the single channel and the single channel in the Bus. 6. Problem Feedback Before Modification: The Problem Feedback function uses the Windows’ built-in Mail Software, Question Report. But the Mail Software is never built in the Windows7 System, which causes that the Problem Feedback function can not be operated in the Windows 7 System normally. After Modification: Design a standalone Mail Software, Problem Feedback. 7. Save the Compression Format of the File Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: Add the Compression Algorithm in the process of saving the Software, and reduce the Memory Size of the File. 8. AP Sharing Before Modification: Install the Software of each Model independently. After Modification: Merge into a set of Installation Software, which is convenient for the users with multiple Models and saving the space of the Hardware Disk. 9. Add the option, Show the T Bar in the middle area. Before Modification: Place the T Bar in the middle of the Waveform Display Area after triggering. After Modification: Add “Show the T Bar in the middle area” option in the Common Setup dialog box of the Customize. After triggering, users decide to place the T Bar in the middle of the Waveform Display Area or keep the current Position of the T Bar in the Waveform Display Area. 10. Add the new Data Format, Decimal (Signed). Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: Support the Decimal (Signed). 11. Support decoding the Special String of the Protocol Analyzer. Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: Support decoding the Special String of the Protocol Analyzer (For example, decimal point). Enhanced Functions: 1. Add the Default Button in the Dialog Box of the Bus Data Color Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: Add the Default button, which is inconvenient for users to restore the settings to the default. 2. Modify the Position of Button Before Modification: The Up and Next Buttons are set at the both sides of a function. After Modification: The Up and Next Buttons of the Sampling Frequency, Trigger Position, RAM Size, Zoom and Internal Clock are set at the same side (right), so it is convenient for users to operate. 3. Add the Prompting Information of the Shortcut Keys in the Tooltip of the Tool Bar Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: This function adds the Prompting Information of the Shortcut Keys in the Tooltip of the Tool Bar of the LA. 4. Add the Display Range in the Information Area Before Modification: Delete the Trigger Position in the Information Area. After Modification: Add the Display Range of the waveform time in the Data Display Area. Because the Trigger Position is always “0”, there is not meaning for the Data Display; then we modify the Trigger Position as the Display Range. 5. Support the Custom Function of the Data Format Display of the Protocol Analyzer Before Modification: The Data Format is controlled by the Main Program. After Modification: The Data Format can be controlled by the Protocol Analyzer. 6. Packet Optimization Because the relative functions of the main program are required to be extended, it is necessary to enhance the whole efficiency of the Logic Analyzer; the added function can be used in the interface of the Logic Analyzer in order that it can improve the whole value. And it can be divided into six parts, see as below: (1) The Packet List Window supports the Toolbar of the Protocol Analyzer. The Packet List Window can support the Toolbar of the Protocol Analyzer, the Toolbar of the Protocol Analyzer is provided by the DLL of Protocol Analyzer; the main program provides the Function Interface and the Operating Interface, when it detects the Toolbar of Protocol Analyzer, it will create and display it in the Packet List Window. The Toolbar is different for each Protocol Analyzer, but it provides the same function; the Toolbar can be customized in the Protocol Analyzer according to the condition of Protocol Analyzer. (2) Support the Display of the Second-order Decoding of the Protocol Analyzer. The Second-order Decoding of the Protocol Analyzer means providing the operating window through the Toolbar. When users activate the function of the Second-order Decoding of the Protocol Analyzer, the Protocol Analyzer will carry out the function of the Second-order Decoding; the data of the packet and waveform will be refreshed according to the results of the Second-order Decoding. The Second-order Decoding is different for each Protocol Analyzer, it can be realized by the function which is provided by the Protocol Analyzer. The results of the Second-order Decoding can be displayed in Packet List Window. (3) Support the Display of the Packet Format Filter. This function is convenient for users to detect the change of the appointed packet. The operating window of the Packet Filter is supplied by the Protocol Analyzer. The Packet Format Filter of each Protocol Analyzer is different; it can be realized by the function of the Protocol Analyzer. The Packet List can only support the Display of the Packet Format Filter. (4) Support the Filter Display of the Packet#, Name and TimeStamp. The Display of the Packet#, Name and TimeStamp of the Packet List can be decided by users, so that the Packet List Window can be used sufficiently. The Packet List can display the Data Format according to the result of the Filter. (5)Support the Display of Data Merge If the continuous several (8Bit) data appears in the Packet List, it won’t use the 8Bit (A group) as a unit. Literally speaking it will take all the Data as a group to display. (6) Display the Serial Number. If the continuous several (8Bit) Data appears in the Packet List and the Waveform. We will use the mode of the tooltip and take the 8Bit as a basic unit to display the Serial Number of the Data; so that it is convenient for users to set the Data. 7. Analog Waveform Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: The function of Analog Waveform means that the Display Mode of Bus Data is not the Pure Data Mode, while it displays the data change with the curve which looks like a waveform, which is a curve to describe the data change in fact. And we add two options, Single Analog Display and Mixed Analog Display. Single Analog Display: It only displays the Analog Waveform, the waveform of the used four sub-channels can’t be displayed. Mixed Analog Display: It uses the original Display Mode to display the Analog Waveform, and it also can display the waveform of the used four sub-channels. 8. Support more languages for the Software Before Modification: Support the Chinese Simplified (Si), Chinese Traditional (Tr) and English only. After Modification: Add other new languages besides the Chinese Simplified (Si), Chinese Traditional (Tr) and English in the follow. And the new languages will be issued by way of the independent Installation File. When users install the program of other new language, the software will detect the program automatically and supply the language for users to switch. 9. Support the SDK for the Data Contrast Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: “Open the SDK for the Data Contrast”, it means that our Logic Analyzer Software has the function of the Data Contrast and we provide the SDK for users modifying the function of the Data Contrast according to their requirements; the Data Contrast Interface which is designed by users will be supported by the main program. 10. Full Print Before Modification: Select the All only. After Modification: This function is mainly convenient for users to select the printing page; meanwhile, users can select to print all the waveforms. 11. Waveform Mode Before Modification: When the software is activated every time, the Waveform Mode is Square Waveform by default. After Modification: When the Waveform Mode is changed, the software will recode the changed mode; when the software is activated next time, the Waveform Mode is changed mode. 12. Data Statistics Function Before Modification: When the Software is activated every time, the settings of the Data Statistics are the default. After Modification: The settings have been saved in the File, so it is unnecessary for the users to reset. 13. Time/Address Display in the Listing Display Window Before Modification: Display the Address only. After Modification: In the Hide time of waveform or the Sampling Site Display mode, the Bus/Signal column displays the Address; in the Frequency Display or the Time Display mode, the Bus/Signal column displays the Time. Modified Functions: 1. Modify some Chinese and English words. Before Modification: The Chinese words are unsuitable. After Modification: The Enable has been changed into Signal Filter; the Customize has been changed into Common Setup and the relative words have been modified; the Trigger Properties has been changed into Trigger Property; some words on the Statistics window have been modified. 2. The Display Bar will draw the error image in the Width Screen Resolution mode. Before Modification: The Display Bar will draw the error image. After Modification: The Display Bar will draw the right image. 3. Add the Pull-down Options. Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: Add the Signal Filter Setup option on the pull-down menu of the Bus/Signal; add the Navigator, Memory Analyzer, Bus Packet List and Statistics Window options on the pull-down menu of the Window. 4. Merge the Buttons of the Waveform Display Mode . Before Modification: There are four Buttons (Time Display, Sampling Site Display, Frequency Display and Hide time of waveform) on the Toolbars column. After Modification: The four Buttons are merged into one Button, and the Mode can be switched through clicking the Button or selecting an option from the pull-down menu of the Button. 5. Modify the Names and Arrangement of the Buttons (Bus Packet List, Memory Analyzer and Statistics Window) and adjust the Reaction Statuses. Before Modification: No Support. After Modification: Modify the Names and Arrangement of the Buttons (Bus Packet List, Memory Analyzer and Statistics Window) and adjust the Reaction Statuses. 6. The LAP-B(702000X) will close the External Clock in the HSFC Mode. Before Modification: The LAP-B(702000X) doesn’t have the External Clock in the HSFC Mode. After Modification: The LAP-B(702000X) will close the External Clock in the HSFC Mode. 7. Change the Hardware Function Configuration File and avoid writting the File again. Before Modification: Because the Configuration Tables are different, the Hardware should be written again when it is moved to other computer. After Modification: It is unnecessary to write the Hardware again when the Hardware is moved to other computer. 8. Problem to take the Trigger Level of the External Signal into effect Before Modification: The Trigger Level of the External Signal can not come into effect. After Modification: The Trigger Level of the External Signal can be set. 9. In the Compression mode, when the Trigger Condition is not set, if the Stop button is pressed, the captured signals maybe have error. Before Modification: The signals maybe have error.
