Module Introduction CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is one of selectable specifications in HDMI specifications. It can be used to simplify the operation of the Digital Home, for example, a Remote Control can control all Digital Products which support the HDMI. Nowadays, the CEC can be seen on many different Brands, but the given names are different, such as VIERA Link of Panasonic, Anynet+ of Samsung, SIMPLINK of LG, BRAVIA SYNC of Sony and Fami Link of Sharp. However, all of those are used to control the connected devices on the HDMI interface with the help of the CEC signal, namely, One Touch Play function and System Standby function. That is to say, if users place a videodisc in the Blue-light Player, the television will turn on automatically because of the CEC signal ’s information, and the video channel will switch to the channel which is connected with the Player automatically; if users turn off the television, the CEC signal will tell the device which is connected with the HDMI to enter into the Standby status at the same time. So a single Remote Control can control the whole devices which are connected with HDMI completely. HDMI_CEC adopts the single channel to transmit signals, and the transmission rate is lower than 500BPS. When the system is idle, the CEC Bus will be pulled to the voltage, which is from 2.5 V to 3.63 V. The Transmission Frames of HDMI_CEC consist of three parts, namely, START (the length is about 4.5MS; the previous is the Low Level, which is about 3.7MS; the next is the High Level), CEC HEADER BLOCK (it includes only one 8-bit, with the EOM（END OF MESSAGE）and ACK following), and CEC DATA BLOCK ( it may include many 8-bit, with the EOM（END OF MESSAGE）and ACK following).
