Module Introduction PROFIBUS is a kind of internationalized and open-ended Fieldbus Standard, which doesn’t depend on Equipment Manufacturer. The PROFIBUS consists of three parts, which are PROFIBUS-DP (Decentralized Periphery), PROFIBUS-PA (Process Automation) and PROFIBUS-FMS (Fieldbus Message Specification). It adopts the IEC1158-2 Specifications, Digital Bit Synchronization Manchester Encoding and the transmission speed is 31.25Kbps. (3) PROFIBUS-FMS: It is applied in the Plant-level Monitoring Network. It is a Token Structure and Real-time Multi-master Network. It also adopts the RS485 Transmission. PROFIBUS is a kind of Fieldbus Technology, which is applied in the Automation Plant-level Monitoring for manufactories and Filed Device-level Data Communication and Control. It can realize the Distributed Digital Control and the Field Communication Network from the Filed Device-level to Plant-level Monitoring, then it provides the viable solutions for realizing the Manufactory Automation and Field Device Intelligentization.
