Brief Introduction of the Application: eMMC is an embedded memory standard specification designed by the MMCA, and specially for mobile phones. Its memory design is simplified in the way of packing the NAND Flash chip and control chip into one chip by MCP. The advantage of eMMC is: the mobile phone manufacturers are no need to redesign the specification depending on different NAND Flash supplier and process generation, and further no need to deal with the problems of NAND Flash compatibility and management. The mobile phone customers only need to purchase eMMC chips and install them inside the mobile phones. So for the new product, eMMC can shorten its cycle to come into the market and save its R&D cost. Function Introduction: eMMC can have 10 signal lines at most for protocol interface transmission. Its interface mode is divided into 1 Bit Bus[DATA0], 4 Bit Bus[DATA0~3] and 8 Bit Bus[DATA0~7] according to the quantity of used pins. CLK is the timing signal for data synchronization, CMD Line is used for commands of read/write or perform files and delete data and the like. The packet decoding structure consists of two types: CMD Bus and DATA Bus.
