Brief Introduction of Application: Line Code is often used in the fundamental transmission of communication system. It satisfies the technical requirements of transmission mediums(optical fiber, STP, etc.). It can connect with the transmission line directly and used under the changeable voltage or current (often in differential signal), or as the source of turning the light on/off. It is often used in the IR remote. Line Code signal can be printed on the paper to create a bar code. It is wildly used in quality management of daily necessities and bar code management of membership card in ordinary shop. Function Introduction: Line Code has two modes: Return-to-Zero(RZ) and Nonreturn-to-Zero(NRZ). It has four advantages: 1. Self-synchronization. Having enough timing data, the bit synchronizer can capture the timing or pulse signal accurately. 2. Lower bit error. The digital signal can be regenerated by the comparer to reduce the noise disturbance. 3. Debug capability. Proper coding and decoding of channel makes the communication system equipped with the capability of debugging and correcting. 4. Transparency.
